Why Work @ McCain Calatin?
Good Food / Good People / Good Business
We’ve been a privately owned, family business for more than 45 years. It all started in Canada in 1957 with Harrison and Wallace McCain who passed the business to their family and started a lasting family tradition that continues to the present day. Take a trip through McCain history and learn about our family and our brands.
More than a Job…is a Global Perspective
The business has grown significantly over the years, from 30 employees and global sales of CDN$150,000, to now employing more than 19,000 people with global sales of CDN$8 billion.
We operate across six continents with 45 sites, working with 3,200 farmers and use over 6.5 million tons of potatoes every year.
McCain products can be found in thousands of restaurants and supermarket freezers in more than 160 countries – one in every three French fries in the world is a McCain fry. In addition to fries, McCain also produces other foods, including snacks, meals and vegetables for both the retail and foodservice industries.
Our employees are critical to the success of this business – they are the people that make the good products, forge the good relationships and come from the local communities in which we operate. It is because of this that we take employee career development very seriously. We know good people seek personal and professional development and as a business, we need good people to maintain success.
